Beartooth Mountains - Evening at "Lake at Falls"

We reached Lake at Falls by early evening, and agreed we could allow ourselves an hour of fishing, which would still give us time to get back to camp before dark.

Joe climbed over some very steep ground and big jagged rocks to get to this little penninsula to fish. I was content to stay closer to the trail, where I had good views of the effects of the sunlight on the mountains and water.

We each caught a nice sized trout here before we decided to get back on the trail. We were two miles from Rainbow Lake, where we had a base camp.
