A first attempt at expressing my impressions and feelings from our recent backpacking trip to the Beartooth Mountains. This is the rock fabric shown in a previous post. The evergreen screen print is from photos I took during last month when we spent 4 days in the wilderness. Not sure it is worthy of of quilting, but I will keep it under consideration for the future.

Not worthy? Surely you jest! Definitely give it a go. I like the way the mountains pep. I've seen views just like this.
Love the "granite" fabric. So interesting how you arrived at it.
I agree, this lost soul quilt may have a bright future. I love the granite effect in the fabric. Last weekend I visited a granite mill/fabricator and saw stone very much like this. Neat.
I followed along on your vacation blogs- it looked like a once-in-a-lifetime trip, or is it an annual pilgrimage? :D
