They flower in Summer here (now). Mine are a bit sunburned because I put them outside for the week we were away in the hopes of it raining on them - it didn't! They will be fine but don't look their best.
That is a great specimen :) Mine are mostly the dark pink sort and very old (I got the first one when I was 6 and that was over 40 years back!).
