"Goldfinch"
The background is a hand dyed, block printed fabric. The goldfinches were screen printed onto a hand dyed yellow cotton and fused in place using Mistyfuse.

There's never a time when I don't adore your birds; these finches are so cool. The position of the printing is striking, too.
ReplyDeleteYour Goldfinches look like cousins of the live ones outside my window everyday. Their coloring is getting more vivid and with the tulips blooming, my indicator of spring. I love the spiral in the background.
