Red - Pink Collage

Here  is the beginning of the piece I showed on the blog yesterday.  It is a fused collage of scraps from my scrap drawer.  I grouped the scraps by color and fused them to 20" wide rolls of Mistyfuse.  Then, I put them together - about 55" square with a color progression that I was not crazy about.  Some of the pieces already have block printing and screen printing on them, and this seemed like it might be a challenge.

I don't much like pink and the only reason I have pink fabric in my studio is because it is a by-product of dyeing red fabric.  But this was another exercise in cleaning out my scrap drawer - so there is pink.

This hung around for quite a while before I was able to do anything with it - the pink was a real challenge for me.  You've already seen the final product, so it won't be much of a surprise, but tomorrow I will show what I did next.
