Color Coordinated Fossil Prints

I don't know why I didn't think of this before, but I realized I probably need to make the fossil print fabric that will form the base of this quilt - the same colors as the sky background that fills 3/4 of the upper space of this piece.  I did a bit of printing and auditioned it with what I have so far.  So far so good,  but I do need to add more layers of color and print, I think.
