This work in progress has been an intuitive piece. Scarcely planned, it was done quickly. I've been pondering it ever since and not sure what compelled me to use these cross shapes.
During our visit to Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada, we saw many examples of primitive art using the cross. I was struck by the similarity between this one and the ones I put on my work in progress!
I've been a fan of petroglyphs for quite some time, but this is the first time I noticed so many crosses!
