Beartooth Mountain Butterflies

The wildflowers along the trail were spectacular. Above, the asters, columbine, and goldenrod cover the hillside.
I love the delicate pink shading to this patch of yellow columbine.
We saw butterflies everywhere! I can't seem to identify this one from my reference books.
But you can expect to see it in future work! Love those delicate blue spots on the outside edge of its wings!

I am pretty certain this one is a Silver-Bordered Fritillary. It posed nicely for me
- right on the trail!
