After lunch, we started preparing to pack up camp. I was in the tent deflating sleeping pads when Joe told me to look out the door. What a delightful surprise to find a Mountain Goat had wandered down the mountain near our camp!
This young nanny has apparently been fed by people in the past. She lingered for quite a while, striking numerous poses (as you will see in future posts), and sniffing the air frequently - as if trying to find out what we had for her to eat. We did not feed her and eventually, she wandered off.
