
The wildflowers along the trail were spectacular. Above, the asters, columbine, and goldenrod cover the hillside.

I love the delicate pink shading to this patch of yellow columbine.

We saw butterflies everywhere! I can't seem to identify this one from my reference books.



I am pretty certain this one is a Silver-Bordered Fritillary. It posed nicely for me
- right on the trail!
