This time of year, our birdfeeders are visited by Red Crossbills. I am hoping to get some good images that might convert well to Thermofax screens. I have a particular piece - a work in progress that I want to include screenprinted Red Crossbills. I've not taken the shot I want yet, so will keep trying.

Cynthia, I found you blog from your cover article on Quilting Arts and have silently followed since. I love how you take your photos and convert them to thermofax screens.
Would love to know what criteria you have to consider a photo good enough to use as a screen.
Love your work and will attempt to comment more often. I'm usually a quiet person and don't talk much.
