Most remarkable was the fact that we were able to observe the lake in perfect reflective stillness the entire time we drove beside it (several hours)! I feel this must have been due to the fact that the lake was still mostly covered in ice.

Yellowstone Lake in May
Most remarkable was the fact that we were able to observe the lake in perfect reflective stillness the entire time we drove beside it (several hours)! I feel this must have been due to the fact that the lake was still mostly covered in ice.
