When I saw these delicate white flowers from the road, I just had to stop and get a closer look.
I was surprised to discover the leaves look very similar to the nasty thistles we have at home!
I was not able to discover the name of these plants until I returned home and was able to do an Internet search. The Prickly Poppy is well named, but I loved seeing them along the roadside!
