Las Vegas Entertainment

Sights and Entertainment in Las Vegas

Just visiting the various hotels on the strip was enough to entertain us for two evenings. We enjoyed the Bellagio water fountain show and loved visiting the lobby, where a Chihouly glass sculpture adorns the ceiling. 2000 individual pieces were blown to create this vibrant work of art.

The Bellagio gardens are decorated for Chinese New Year. Orchids were everywhere.

At the Palazzio, we enjoyed the "Living Garden" - young women dressed to look like fountain statues. They spouted water from their hands and heads, all set to music. There were also people costumed to look like vines that moved to the music, as well.

In St. Mark's Square at the Venetian, there was always some sort of free entertainment. We liked the performance art - this living statue was fun.

Our one big splurge was the Blue Man Group show. I'd seen in nearly 10 years ago in New York City. Much of the show was the same. It was fun to go with Joe this time.

Thank you for sharing all those beautiful pictures! The geologypictures are very interesting, too.

Enjoy your journey!
