Paintbrush Piecers Quilt Talk Continued

Another technique I enjoy for applying color to fabric is dye. I love to apply dye to manipulated fabric - shibori - as in the silk organza jacket above.

"Six Colorful Sisters in a Small House"

"Merlot" is also primarily dyed rayon and cotton fabrics. It, too has been shown all around the globe!

"Dancing til Dawn"

"Crazed and Confused"

"Chickadee Conclave"

All this work is delicious - I especially love the "Cottonwood Calendar" - the format of little constructions comprising the larger one just rings a chord! Have you ever discussed this piece in detail on your blog? If so, could you direct me? If not...well, I'd love to hear more!

I love all the work you're displaying. I can't, however, read the print on this post very well, some of it not at all (red on black is the issue for me I think
