Autumn Tree - Quilting

Well, I have finished the quilting. I used a variegated poly thread on top and Bottom Line in the bobbin. I am so happy with my new Juki 98Q for free motion quilting. It flows along flawlessly. Really liberating to not have to fight with my machine!

Next, I will trim it into a nice rectangle and add the screen printed birds.

The quilt is lovely! Can't wait to see the birds. The cottonwoods along the Yellowstone should be getting ready to show their colors as well. Inspiration abounds in Montana.

Homer, Alaska is one of the most beautiful places in Alaska. The galaries even had quilts on display and there (at least when I was there about three years ago) is a quilt store and bead store. I hope you have many opportunities to visit your daughter, check out downtown and walk along the spit.
