Line Lake Cutthroat Trout

We had an hour of very exciting fishing.  Pablo, (age 12) caught the first two fish - cutthroat trout around 12".  Lil (age 8 ) caught a big fish using the Spiderman fishing pole with a worm.  Her Cutthroat was 18.5" long and 2 1/2 lb.  This was the largest cutthroat trout I had ever seen.
Shortly after, Lil caught another big fish.  It was so large, it got away with the hook and bobber.  The line broke.  After that, Airus (age 6) was ready to try fishing.  He was in his stocking feet (drying his shoes from the creek crossings) when he caught his big fish, which weighed 3 1/2 lb and was 20 1/2" long.  This is the new size record for cutthroat trout I have seen!
After Airus caught his fish - they quit biting.  We never caught another.
