The Growth Thru Art Gala is coming up on November 14.
Last winter, I worked with two groups of adults with disabilities in a fabric painting workshop.

I am a member of WAV, a small art quilt group, and the members took on the challenge of using a piece of the fabric to create something to donate to the silent auction fundraiser.

These birds look terrific! I bet the group were so proud of their work.
I need to remember this idea--it is a great idea. And the WAV blog is very inspiring.
