Maxey Cabin is just 20 minutes from Bozeman and just one mile from Hyalite Lake. This is a forest service cabin that can be rented by the night. I reserved it for two nights and invited family to join me. I was surprised that so many people attended!
The cabins sleep six, but pitching tents is allowed. One of my sisters brought her camper.
