After these were painted on both sides and dry, I drilled a hole in them and tied on some heavy fishing line, per his request - so he can hang them in his room.
How cool is that! I'm remembering all the fun I had as a small child with simple materials and a few suggestions from Mom, Grandma and teachers at school. That's what got me started! Way to go, Grandma!
