Continuing on with this quilt - I have a lot of felted wool balls made for me by my daughter, Michelle. These were dyed, then cut in half and attached randomly around the ground for the flower centers.
OK, I'm intriqued--what kind of petals will your flowers have and how will you be making them? Can't wait to see the finished product! And are you still planning on beading the sun's rays? This quilt will be a major accomplish-ment, and we have been able to follow its progress from your first sketch. Thank you!!

It has been great fun watching this piece come together. I really like it-- wonderful job.
