Cactus Blooms at Chaco Canyon

We don't visit the desert often, but most of the cactus flowers I have seen are yellow.  We were surprised to see these red blooming cactus.  We did not see a lot of these around, but there were a couple.  This plant was located near a wall of petroglyphs.
