Our third day, we hiked out after breakfast. About halfway between Keyser Brown Lake and the Lake Fork Trailhead, we were startled by this moose family that was just 20 feet off the trail.
It is rare to see a bull, cow and calf all together in one spot.
We didn't spend too much time lingering there, they started acting like we were disturbing them. I was hiding behind a truck sized boulder and peering around to take my pictures.

Oh, how lucky you! The few times I've been (nervously) close enough to get a decent picture of a moose, I've not had a camera. Very cool to see the whole family.
