Printing Sky

Progress on the Earth - Sky Piece.

I am block printing the background fabric.

I decided to use metallics for the all the block printing on this piece. I poured a puddle of each color onto my palette and used a broad sponge brush to pick up all three colors at the same time. Makes for a nice effect.
I loved the way the gold in the mix really came through for the sky.
