Yes, turkeys again. These guys are just such frequent visitors to the hillside behind our home - I just can't resist. They pass through in groups, and the males are very colorful right now, since it is breeding season.
We don't often see the males puff up their tail feathers like this, so it was great to see several in this group doing so all at once (too bad they were in the shade, though)!

They're really beautiful! I love the shape of the feathers... the colors, and how they lay in rows! Do they talk to you? We have neighbors with turkeys, and they always gobble when we go by!
