Sentinal Dome was another hike we did. This is another granite dome (like Half Dome, only more accessible).
This was really the best vantage point
of any other in Yosemite. There is a brass compass embedded in stone on top. This compass points out all the landmarks in every direction 360 degrees.
We spent at least an hour enjoying the view, watching the birds of prey flying around, and this lizard sunning itself nearby.
