We were really excited as we caught sight of Fizzle Lake, also known as Windy Lake. This meant we were getting close to Fossil Lake - a place I have been hearing about for years.
I have a feeling few people spend much time here. The shoreline is rocky and there are not many obvious camping sites. The sprawling Fossil Lake is just around the bend, so why stop here? Fizzle reportedly has an overpopulation of Brook trout.
