We walked partway around the lake before we found Michelle waiting for us on a rock.
We agreed to find a less buggy (hopefully) place to rest and eat lunch - and also to filter some drinking water. So we walked a bit further around the lake until we reached a spot where the snowmelt was rushing down the hill into the lake. Freshest water we could ever find anywhere!
The wildflowers were very happily blooming near the stream, also!
