Skull Lake and Beyond in the Beartooth Mountains

Skull Lake is not very big - just 5.5 acres, so we passed it by quickly, heading up over the ridge to the next lakes at the top!  Again, we were greeted with a wonderful reflection on the lake on account of the clear skies and calm air.  Surprising at this altitude!  While hiking, a bit of a breeze would have been nice, but we sure appreciated the beautiful sight of these reflective lakes on this second day on "The Beaten Path".

Wildflowers painted the scene!  Wow - just awesome!
