A distant cousin drove us to the old family farm in Cass County, Illinois.
This is the location of the farm where my great, great grandfather lived.
The house was out in this area and has been long since torn down.
According to stories, there were a lot of trees here and they were cleared away and sold, then the farming commenced. This would have been in the mid 1800's.
