I had some painted cheesecloth leftover from another piece, so I rummaged around in my studio and found a hand painted piece I'd done a while back when I was making "rock" fabric.
I cut the cheesecloth into jagged strips and fused them randomly across the surface of the rock fabric.
Next, I screen printed petroglyphs. I have taken photos of petroglyphs in my travels, and converted them to screens for printing.
I am very pleased with the way this piece looks.
I'd say perhaps it is ready to be quilted!
