Swallowtail
This Thermofax screen was created using a photo of a Swallowtail butterfly I took in my own yard. I used black ink and printed onto a marbled fabric (that I marbled probably 6 years ago or more). I don't think the images here really show the lovely detail of the marbled fabric.
The background fabric is a class sample from a class I took probably 10 years ago or so with Katie Pasquini Masopust. It cut up nicely into a couple of completely different postcards!

Love the quote; the cards are very cool, too.
Lovely pieces!!! So realistic looking. I can't wait for the 'real' butterflies to return in about 5 months.
