The boat tour of the Bighorn Canyon departed from Barry's Landing. We were fortunate to have the entire tour to ourselves. We were able to wander all over the 64 passenger boat to take photos of the spectacular canyon walls.
Here is the dock - the stone wall was blasted away to create the ramp.
I believe the captain said that the walls are about 150 feet high here and the water is 150 feet deep.
This river canyon was converted to a lake with the
Yellowtail Dam at Fort Smith.
We did the tour with friends Joan and Chris.
