Lost Lake is about 5 miles from the trailhead.
It is pretty easy going - without any steepness to the trail.

Based on my topo map - I feel pretty certain this is Thunder Mountain, with Whitetail Peak off in the distance.

We tried catching the big cuts we saw swimming along the shoreline. No luck. The heavy downfall along shore and under water made fishing quite challenging.

Not many wildflowers on account of the heavy timber, but these Penstemon were blooming along the lake.
