Binding Finished for Light in the Forest

Continuing on with "Light in the Forest".  Yesterday, I showed how I cut the strips for the binding and fuse it in place.  Today, I show the details of the attached
hand dyed, block printed binding as it has been stitched in place with a free motion zig-zag stitch.

I am sorry I haven't been commenting on your beautiful artwork! I have just been reading and absorbing. You are amazing! The butterflies look like they don't need postage and will fly to mailboxes and the Light in the Forest is fantastic! I too, am disappointed that I cannot find Setacolor or Jacquard paints locally. The tulip screen printing paint isn't too bad, but I still love to use the others instead. Wishing you a beautiful weekend. Snow is predicted for here, so I assume you will be getting some too.

It turned out beautifully! Do you like it better now that it's done? I know you weren't thrilled in the beginning...
